Hello.
I'm glad to present you a mix of Soviet jazz-funk music from USSR. I used more than 25 tracks from a variety of Soviet records of the early 70's and late 80's. Who are versed in soviet jazz and groove find for themselves as well-known and very rare tracks. I tried to make a mix that is designed primarily for chillin'...
When recording a mix, I used two turntables Technics 1210mk2, mixer Rane TTM57 and Pioneer EFX-1000.
No CDs, no MP3, no SERATO. Only original vinyl!

This is a live DJ set from one of the Moscow club Arma-17. I played 8 hours at the presentation of the English Bench clothing. They asked me to play funk/soul and hip-hop. Then I learned that they could not even write my 1 hour set. Enjoy it.

This track I was very pleased when I watched the final battle BOTY 2002. I had another version, but hearing the drum break in the beginning, I myself set off to dance in my room. This band from Spain. They have a very good LP in latin-funk style. This track was only released on single. Enjoy it!

The next version of the famous track by DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist I'm Your Puppet. I believe that this is one of the versions of the track that was released only on 7inch. This records I bought two years ago in Amsterdam, Holland in Wax Well Records Store. I was lucky enough to buy two identical records. That version of that track I have never heard. Amazing stuff. I wrote down how I mix the two identical plates. 1976 year. Enjoy it.

To date, this is a classic. When I bought this disc four years ago for $ 2 and I had no idea what was written. When I put the needle on the record and heard the first sounds of the track Funky Lover I received lots of positive feelings. At this point, I thought that this track will blow up clubs and become a classic bboy music.

When I find a record of authors from ex-Yugoslavia, as well as the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, I am always amazed at the fact that in these countries was a real funky groove. Milan Drobny, artist unknown to me from the Republic of Czechoslovakia. When I bought this 7inch record, I guess the fact that there are interesting songs. When I hear track Lucky, I heard it cover version of the classic disco funk track Doobie Brothers ''Long Train Running''. Dope rare version for b-boys/b-girls or locking dancers. There's not drum breaks but the track is pleasant for the dancing. 1976 year. Enjoy it.
